Stainless Steel 321 EFW Pipe is a titanium stabilized austenitic grade with an increased carbon content than Stainless Steel 321 Pipes. This increased carbon content increases the pipe’s creep resistance and its strength at higher temperatures. It also exhibits high weldability and excellent durability. Stainless Steel 321 EFW Pipes are commonly used in oil refineries, jet aircraft components, and diesel and heavy-duty automobile exhaust systems. These pipes are resistant to chromium carbide formation. They also exhibit a good degree of mechanical strength and are rust-free.
In addition to being strong and corrosion-resistant, stainless steel 321 is also known for its excellent oxidation-resistance properties. It has excellent intergranular corrosion resistance. Nickel is also added to improve the intergranular corrosion-resistant ability of the pipe. This stainless steel pipe is also excellent at resisting high temperatures.
Stainless Steel 321 EFW Pipes can be supplied bare or coated with caps at the ends. In addition, they may be packaged in bundles or loose. In addition to this, they may also be wrapped with polypropylene sheets or secured with flat steel bands.
While SS 321 EFW Pipes are resistant to oxidation, they have excellent strength at high temperatures. As a result, they are perfect for many applications. For example, they are commonly used in automotive exhaust systems. They are also great for oil refinery equipment.

Stainless Steel EFW Pipes meet the requirements of ASTM A358 for electrical fusion welding. These pipes can be used for applications in high temperatures and in cryogenic applications. The ASTM A358 specification covers Stainless Steel, and various alloys. Heat treatment requirements depend on the desired service conditions and application. As far as welding goes, this pipe type is double welded with filler metal in all passes. It is also fully radiographed.
When it comes to high temperature applications, 321 stainless steel has excellent general corrosion resistance and resists oxidation up to 816deg C. It also has high creep and stress-fracture resistance.
Stainless Steel 321H Welded Pipes have excellent welding properties, making them a superior choice for many applications. They are also relatively inexpensive and are considered comparable to SS 304L and 304H. They are also stabilized with titanium, which reduces the chances of intergranular corrosion.
AISI 321H EFW Pipes offer good welding and forming capabilities and are used in high-temperature atmospheres. SUS 321H Tubes are used for applications that require creep resistance and strength at high temperatures. They are able to resist oxidation and corrosion to a temperature of 1500 degrees Fahrenheit. These pipes are also stronger than the standard 304 and 304L pipes, and they offer better creep resistance than their counterparts.
A standard austenitic stainless steel alloy, Stainless Steel 321H contains five times more titanium than carbon. This makes it highly sustainable in an elevated temperature environment. The alloy is also remarkably malleable, allowing pipe fabrication to be accomplished with ease and precision.
Despite its superior metallurgy properties, it is susceptible to intergranular corrosion and carbide precipitation. For this reason, it is often preferred over Stainless Steel 304L Pipes. However, grade 321H is often not suitable for high-temperature environments.
