Stainless Steel 904L Round Bars represents a group of high temperature and corrosion-resistant steels. Stainless Steel 904L Round Bars are made from austenitic steel and exhibit exceptional corrosion resistance. Their chemical composition contains chromium, nickel, molybdenum, copper, sulfur, and manganese. These components provide an excellent resistance to acid, chlorides, and reducing acids. Stainless Steel 904L Round Bars are made using finest qualities of materials in such a way so as to show exceptional resistance to corrosion due to a high chromium oxide film which is formed on the surface. Normally, it happens when carbon steel comes in contact with water, it corrodes forming a brown iron oxide called rust, on the surface. Ultimately steel will corrode and be converted to rust. But we are making these round bars with sufficient chromium content when compared to ordinary steel, transforming the oxide on the surface it is very thin, protective and virtually invisible in a wide range of corrosive media.
These bars are commonly used for gas turbine engine parts,
as well as in pulp and paper manufacturing. They have a very low carbon content
and are easy to weld. Moreover, they do not need pre-heating or post-welding
heat treatments.
904L Round Bars are a good choice for welding and other
applications. They are available in standard lengths of 2000 to 6000 mm. They
are also custom cut to size if necessary. Their tolerance is +2/-0. The
advantages of 904L Round Bars include increased strength, corrosion resistance,
and reduced cost.
The alloyed Stainless Steel 904L Round Bars are highly
corrosion resistant. They can be used for tanks, pipelines, and other pressure
vessels in different industries. The low carbon content allows these metals to
resist sulfur and hot cracking. The high alloy content makes them a great
choice for welds.
