Stainless Steel Al 6XN Seamless Pipe is a “super-austenitic” low-carbon stainless steel. They have a composition of 24% Nickel, 6.3% Molybdenum, Nitrogen, and Chromium Content, providing good resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking and chloride pitting. SS AL6XN Seamless Pipes are widely used in chlorides due to their improved resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. Stainless steel is a material that can be welded and formed. Al6xn Seamless Pipe is 50% more robust than stainless steel tube. The Al 6XN Seamless Pipe is stable up to 1000°F. AL6XN High-Pressure Tube is stable to 1000°F. The stainless steel Al 6XN seamless pipe displays excellent corrosion resistance in oxidising conditions, different acids, alkalis, salt solutions, seawater, crevices, stress, and general corrosion. Pharmaceutical, marine, oil & gas, food, and chemical processing equipment are the key industries that employ Al 6XN Seamless Pipe. The stainless steel grade Al6xn tubing is a better choice than traditional duplex stainless steel tubes and a more affordable substitute for the much more expensive nickel-base alloys due to its high strength and corrosion resistance.
Stainless Steel AL6XN Seamless Pipes have higher tensile strength than typical austenitic stainless steels due to their nitrogen content while preserving ductility and impact strength. These SS Grade AL 6XN Seamless Pipes have Cr, Mo, Ni, and N, contributing to total corrosion resistance in diverse mediums.
Chromium is the main substance that gives these seamless pipes corrosion resistance in neutral or oxidising environments. Chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen all enhance corrosion resistance to pitting. Grade AL 6XN Seamless Pipes’ austenitic structure benefits from nickel. Nickel and molybdenum improve chloride stress corrosion cracking resistance in these seamless pipes under a reducing atmosphere. In reducing conditions, nickel and molybdenum give enhanced resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking in these Seamless Pipes. These AL 6XN Seamless Pipes are applicable for various industrial purposes, such as processing containers and pipes, marine heat exchangers, tall oil distillation columns and packaging, water filtration saltwater machinery, compressors, offshore natural gas production equipment, dryers, vats, press rolls, and pipes for pulp bleaching plants.
