This stainless steel is a type of austenitic stainless steel used in high-temperature applications. Its high chromium and nickel composition make it resistant to oxidation and other chemical processes. In addition, 310 SS is low in carbon, making it less brittle. Stainless Steel 310 Plates are also known as UNS S31000 Plates, SS 310 Plate, SUS 310 Plate, UNS S31000 Sheets, and Stainless Steel 1.4841 Plates. They are standardized under ASTM A240 and ASME SA240.
This material is also used in many food processing applications. It is commonly used in boilers and gas turbines. It can withstand temperatures of up to 1150degC.
Stainless Steel 310 Sheets can be found in rolled and stamped forms. These rolled steel plates have high tensile strength and are extremely corrosion-resistant. Stainless Steel 310S Plates are commonly used in the oil and chemical industries. The high chromium content and medium nickel content of 310S stainless steel make it an ideal choice for high-temperature applications. 310S also has excellent corrosion resistance. Its maximum service temperature is 1100°C when used in dry air without additional corrosion agents. However, this temperature will be reduced if it is exposed to corrosive gases or fluids.
Stainless Steel 310S Sheets are designed to achieve the requisite corrosion resistance while exhibiting excellent ductility. These products are commonly used in various industrial applications and are highly durable. Their high tensile strength, easy weldability, and flexibility make them a preferred choice for high-performance manufacturing products.
Stainless Steel 310S Plates are commonly used in industrial settings and for high temperature and cryogenic environments. Their low carbon content provides good corrosion resistance and weldability. In addition to this, SS 310S plates hold superior potency at room temperature. The high chromium and moderate nickel content make 310S a desirable choice for heat-resistant applications.
