Stainless Steel AL-6XN Seamless Tubes are made from stainless steel and available in various shapes and sizes. These tubes are commonly used in a variety of applications. Stainless Steel AL-6XN Seamless Tubes can be used in-line pipes, fencing, and scaffolding and are suitable for high-pressure applications.
At high temperatures, AL6XN Tube has excellent corrosion resistance. It has excellent formability, weldability, and very high strength and corrosion resistance.
The mechanical properties of AL-6XN Seamless Tubes are distinct. These tubes have a density (kg/m3) of 8.055 gm/cm3, melting point 1321-1393°C, Brinell 185 hardness, Rockwell B 90 hardness, Tensile Strength, Ultimate 760 Mpa, Tensile Strength, Yield 380 Mpa, Elongation at Break 45.0%, Reduction of Area 60.0%, Charpy Impact 190 J, Electrical Resistivity 8.89 x 10 -7m This alloy’s chemical composition is as follows: Carbon 0.03 maximum, Manganese 2 maximum, Silicon 1.00 maximum, Copper 0.75 maximum, Phosphorus 0.04 maximum, Sulfur 0.03 maximum, Chromium 20.0 – 22.0, and Molybdenum 6- 7, Iron – Balance.
These tubes exhibit high strength and corrosion resistance
and are a better choice than the conventional duplex stainless steel tube.
These tubes also exhibit excellent formability and are a cost-effective alternative
to nickel-based alloys. Stainless Steel AL-6XN is a registered trademark of ATI

The AL-6XN alloy has been proven to be an excellent choice
for corrosive environments. It can be used for many chemical,
bio-pharmaceutical, and petrochemical applications. Its corrosion resistance is
demonstrated through extensive testing, which is the basis of NACE
certification.
Super austenitic stainless steel AL6XN has excellent
resistance to chloride pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress-corrosion
cracking. Its high nickel and molybdenum content make it ideal for aggressive
environments. It also offers high-impact strength and elasticity.
